International students seeking entry to UCL may be required to take the UPCH Critical Thinking entrance test. The UPCH is designed to identify students who have a disposition to thinking critically and requires students to think and reason intellectually and to be able to argue their point well. Your Academic Tutor Online tutor will work with you on your critical thinking skills, supporting you in developing a “voice” and bringing a higher, intellectual reasoning to your written and spoken work. Your tutor will support you with focussed work during your tutor sessions as well as guiding you with your reading and research outside your sessions so that you are prepared and ready to take the UPCH.
